Famous Past Lives

A Book  about Famous Past Life Regression Experiences

"Working as a hypnotherapist over the last 18 years I have completed many thousands of Past Life Regression sessions in an effort to help my clients with their issues. Along the way I have encountered a few people who appear to have had previous lives as well known or famous historical characters, and this book is the story of their regression sessions. I should mention at the outset that I used to be very sceptical whenever I heard of anyone claiming to be famous in a former life but I had to change my views when quite spontaneously in our hypnotherapy sessions they accessed memories of these famous people." Steve Burgess

The books is divided into 6 sections, each of which covers the information which came through in the regression sessions. The famous characters are as follows:

  • Queen Elizabeth 1
  • Queen Mary (Bloody Mary)
  • Jack the Rippers’ victim Catherine Eddowes
  • A brave airman who died in the Dambusters Raid
  • Titus Oates from the Scott of the Antarctic expedition
  • William Shakespeare

The bulk of the book is made up of two famous personages, Elizabeth I and Shakespeare. The Elizabeth section details Steve's client reliving many times in Elizabeth's life including her incarceration in the tower, her relationship with her sister Queen Mary, her coronation and her death. However most of this section relates to Elizabeth's love affair with Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. The memories the client experienced as the Queen puts flesh on their relationship and certainly give lie to the legend of the 'Virgin Queen' as she actually experienced having sex with Robert Dudley during one of the regression sessions. As well as this she relived Elizabeth giving birth to Dudley's child, a mystery sometimes hinted at in history books but never proven.

The section on Mary Tudor, Elizabeth's older sister, includes details of a strange meeting Steve arranged with their present incarnations. Having them both in the same room, 400 years after they lived together, was certainly an interesting experience.
Similarly, the Catherine Eddowes section is shorter but details her horrible death at the hands of the Ripper.

The Dambusters section covers the past life of a member of the Dambusters Raid in WWII.

A deeply moving section is that of the life of Titus Oates, who died heroically on the Scott of the Antarctic Expedition.
The final part of this book is, like the first, a lengthy one, covering many relatively unknown aspects of Shakespeare's life, including his travels abroad to collect material for the plays, which he then passed on to a nobleman (supporting the theory that Shakespeare was not the author of his plays). As well as this Shakespeare's sexual orientation is called into question, his extra-marital affair and his difficult relationship with Anne Hathaway are also covered.

Much of the information is unknown to historians.
